As a Sales Development Representative based in New York (hybrid), you will own the early-stage sales pipeline by identifying and qualifying potential customers in the healthcare sector. Your primary responsibilities include conducting outbound prospecting through cold calls, email campaigns, and LinkedIn outreach to generate qualified leads for the Account Executive team. You will research potential customers, qualify leads against defined criteria, schedule discovery meetings, and maintain accurate CRM records in HubSpot.
You'll serve as the first human touchpoint for prospects, playing a critical role in building predictable revenue through meaningful conversations. The role requires staying informed about industry trends and customer feedback to continuously refine the sales approach. You'll provide valuable market intelligence back to the broader sales and marketing teams.
Ideal candidates have foundational B2B sales experience, preferably in SaaS or tech environments. You're comfortable with cold outreach, handle rejection professionally, and possess genuine curiosity about customer needs. Strong communication skills are essential—you can distill complex solutions into clear, compelling messages. Technical proficiency with HubSpot, Google Workspace, Slack, and Notion is expected. Fluency in English (C2 level) is required. You must be based in or willing to relocate to the New York area.
