Airwallex is a unified payments and financial platform serving over 250,000 businesses globally, including Brex, Navan, and Qantas. The company is valued at $11 billion and backed by leading investors including Sequoia, Visa, and Mastercard. You will join the founding commercial team in Mexico as a Sales Development Representative, responsible for launching and scaling Airwallex's Growth business in the Mexican market. This is a ground-floor opportunity to shape initial processes and influence go-to-market strategy in a new region. Key responsibilities include identifying and qualifying leads through phone, email, and social media; building relationships with prospective customers to understand their needs; qualifying opportunities and scheduling appointments for Account Executives; developing and executing outbound strategies to create pipeline within the Growth segment; researching and connecting with leaders across Finance, Operations, and Treasury functions at target companies; and collaborating with Marketing and cross-functional teams on targeted campaigns and localized content. You will need a Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience, plus 1+ years in outbound B2B sales, account management, or related customer-facing roles. Experience in fast-paced, 0-to-1 environments is essential. You must be a strategic thinker who drives partnership conversations rather than transactional sales, with strong analytical skills and proficiency in GSuite and sales tech tools (Salesforce, Outreach, ZoomInfo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator). Native or near-native Spanish fluency and professional English proficiency are required. Preferred qualifications include fintech, payments, SaaS, or financial services experience with knowledge of cross-border payments, FX, or global treasury operations; familiarity with the Mexican business ecosystem and local payment landscape; and the ability to thrive in dynamic, collaborative, startup-like environments.
