CodeRabbit is building next-generation AI-driven code review tools that combine language models with human expertise to significantly improve software development efficiency. The company has achieved strong product-led growth adoption within the developer community and is now scaling its go-to-market engine.
As a Sales Development Representative, you will be a core member of the customer acquisition team, responsible for generating new business pipeline and fueling CodeRabbit's growth. Your primary responsibilities include proactively sourcing and engaging new prospects through outbound outreach and creative prospecting strategies, qualifying inbound leads to convert them into high-quality opportunities for the Account Executive team, and conducting initial discovery conversations to understand customer pain points and assess fit with CodeRabbit's solutions.
You will become fluent in CodeRabbit's product and value proposition, enabling you to effectively engage both technical and business stakeholders. Collaboration is essential—you'll work closely with Sales, Marketing, and Leadership to refine messaging, outreach strategies, and qualification criteria. You'll maintain an organized CRM pipeline, consistently achieve weekly and monthly activity goals, and share insights from prospect conversations to help refine the GTM motion.
The ideal candidate brings 1–3 years of experience in sales, business development, or customer-facing roles, preferably in SaaS, product-led growth, or tech environments. You should have strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to tailor messaging to diverse audiences, a curious and empathetic approach to understanding customer challenges, and a self-starter mentality comfortable in fast-paced, ambiguous startup environments. Grit, resilience, and persistence in prospecting and relationship-building are essential, along with an eagerness to learn and adapt within a rapidly scaling team.
Bonus qualifications include familiarity with developer tools, AI, or open source ecosystems, experience in PLG environments, and proficiency with sales engagement tools and CRMs. This hybrid role requires a minimum of 3 days per week in the San Francisco office. CodeRabbit offers competitive salary, equity, and benefits, along with professional development opportunities and the chance to make direct impact at a high-growth, category-defining company.
