Commvault is seeking a German/English-speaking Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join its Madrid office. You will be responsible for opportunity generation and pipeline development, serving as the first line of communication with prospects in the cyber resilience and data protection space.
Key responsibilities include:
- Proactively identifying and developing whitespace opportunities within your territory to land new accounts and expand market presence
- Sourcing new sales prospects through modern social prospecting techniques (LinkedIn, video prospecting)
- Conducting outbound calling and email outreach to position Commvault solutions
- Qualifying and disqualifying potential customers, probing for active projects that align with Commvault's data solutions
- Targeting 60+ dials per day while maintaining focus on individual goals and milestones
- Developing close relationships with sales counterparts to support their closing efforts
- Applying value propositions to specific customer scenarios and business types
You should be a quick learner with strong communication skills and the ability to showcase offerings compellingly. Experience in IT sales or B2B SaaS is preferred. You'll need demonstrated ability to achieve targets in quota-driven environments, proficiency in Microsoft Office and Salesforce, and excellent interpersonal skills. German language proficiency at C2 (near-native) level and English at B2 level are required.
