Jobber is a SaaS platform helping small home service businesses (plumbers, painters, landscapers) manage quoting, scheduling, invoicing, and payments. As a Sales Development Representative, you'll be the first point of contact for potential customers who have started a trial of the software.
You'll qualify leads by connecting with them via phone, text, and email to understand their business needs and determine if Jobber is a good fit. Your goal is to generate excitement and build value so they're ready to speak with Account Executives who will deepen the relationship. You'll work closely with the AE team to ensure a great customer experience and track all interactions in Salesforce.
The role requires dialing over 100 calls per day, so you need to be energized by a fast-paced environment. Success demands tenacity—not every prospect will be interested, and you need to bounce back quickly. You'll receive regular 1:1 coaching from your manager focused on performance and long-term development, with consistent feedback and growth opportunities.
Key responsibilities include qualifying trial leads, collaborating with the sales team, maintaining accurate Salesforce records, and participating in learning opportunities to develop your sales skills. You'll be part of a team that celebrates wins, motivates through losses, and competes in monthly and quarterly contests (SPIFs).
Jobber has been recognized by Great Place to Work, named on Canada's Most Admired Corporate Cultures, Globe and Mail's Canada's Top Growing Companies, and Deloitte Canada's Technology Fast 50. The company was founded in 2011 and has grown significantly while maintaining a culture of transparency, inclusivity, collaboration, and innovation.
Multiple shift options are available: Monday–Thursday 11am–8pm and Friday 9am–6pm MST; Tuesday–Saturday 8am–5pm MST; or Sunday–Thursday 8am–5pm MST. This is an evergreen posting building a talent pipeline for future openings.
