Nivoda is a rapidly scaling B2B diamond and gemstone marketplace connecting jewellery retailers with suppliers worldwide, processing $300M+ in annual transactions. The company is transforming a $350B industry by democratizing access to inventory and removing traditional barriers for independent jewellers and retail chains.
As a Sales Development Representative, you will be the front-line engine driving Nivoda's growth. You will manage inbound leads with tight SLAs (minutes, not hours) and execute outbound prospecting sequences against target retailer lists. Your core responsibility is qualifying leads fast and booking confirmed demos for Account Executives—your role ends when the demo is scheduled and confirmed.
This is a high-velocity, transactional sales role following a SaaS SDR playbook. You will run multichannel sequences across phone, email, WhatsApp, and LinkedIn with discipline and consistency. You will work a CRM meticulously, logging every touch and disposition, and be measured weekly on activity volume and demos held. Key responsibilities include: converting inbound leads to booked demos within SLA; building and executing personalized outbound sequences at speed; qualifying hard on buyer type, purchase volume, intent, and timeline; confirming demos and reducing no-shows through reminders and pre-demo touches; maintaining immaculate CRM hygiene; and feeding back learnings on objections, messaging, and converting segments.
You will thrive in a high-energy, globally distributed sales team that moves fast, owns outcomes, and genuinely cares about customer success. The role requires 1–3 years of SaaS or tech-sales SDR/BDR experience with transactional, high-volume motion and short sales cycles. You must be comfortable with 60–80+ meaningful touches per day, process-driven, coachable, and resilient. Native or professional proficiency in both English and French is required. Jewellery industry knowledge is not necessary; hunger and rigour are.
