Owner is an AI-native platform helping local business owners (starting with restaurants) manage and grow their operations. The company provides an integrated system covering websites, online ordering, CRM, POS, and more—essentially replacing the fragmented toolset most small business owners currently use.
As a Sales Development Representative, you'll be the first point of contact for warm and cold leads, driving pipeline growth for Owner's restaurant and small business customer base. You'll engage prospects, qualify opportunities, and maintain a steady flow of qualified leads to the sales team. Beyond outbound prospecting, you'll gather customer feedback to inform product and marketing strategy, collaborate with sales leadership to refine SDR tactics, and contribute ideas to shape the overall revenue approach.
Owner is looking for someone with a demonstrated track record of excellence—whether in school, sports, or professional settings—who has consistently exceeded goals and maintained high standards. You should be a confident communicator with strong persuasion skills, grit, and resilience in a fast-paced environment. A customer-obsessed mindset is essential: you'll prioritize understanding each restaurant owner's unique challenges and building long-term relationships over quick wins. The ideal candidate is curious, adaptable, and passionate about continuous learning. Prior experience in restaurants or small business (either selling to or working in them) is highly valued.
The role requires full-time, in-office presence at Owner's Toronto hub (185 Spadina Ave) five days per week. You'll work alongside a talented revenue team and have direct access to sales leaders and cross-functional collaborators. Owner has generated tens of millions in revenue since 2020, processed over a billion dollars in online orders, and serves over 20,000 restaurant owners. The company is backed by Series C funding and is scaling rapidly in 2026.
