Seso is modernizing the back-office for American agriculture by building a premier HR platform for agribusiness to hire and manage their workforce. The company addresses farmers' biggest pain point—access to qualified labor—through a software-enabled solution that automates the H-2A visa process and streamlines recruitment, onboarding, payroll, and insurance while providing workers access to financial services.
As a Sales Development Representative on the East Coast, you will be the tip of Seso's go-to-market spear, serving as the first point of contact for prospective customers. You will receive foundational customer engagement enablement and training before prospecting, ensuring you develop strong sales fundamentals while growing your tenure.
Key responsibilities include prospecting and generating leads that impact the wider sales organization, working alongside Account Executives to develop outbound strategies, collaborating with marketing and demand generation teams, qualifying prospects and scheduling demos, developing relationships with prospects, overcoming objections, managing high-volume target accounts, and relaying customer feedback to the Customer Success team.
You should have 6+ months of prior outbound sales experience, preferably in B2B, with strong cold prospecting skills and experience managing monthly quotas. You are detail-oriented, organized when managing hundreds of leads, and possess strong communication skills via phone and email. You demonstrate creative problem-solving, analytical thinking, and a genuine desire to advance within a sales organization. You thrive building relationships, understanding others' perspectives, and learning in environments of constant experimentation. Spanish fluency is a plus.
Seso has raised over $60M from Tier I investors including Index Ventures, Founders Fund, and Mary Meeker's Bond, and has been recognized as a Forbes Rising Star and part of Andreessen Horowitz's American Dynamism 50.
