Based in Flexport's dynamic EMEA headquarters in Amsterdam, this Sales Development Representative role is central to the company's European growth strategy.
In this position, you will identify and create new sales opportunities for Flexport Europe, working collaboratively with Account Executives across the region to identify and prioritize strategic opportunities. Your day-to-day responsibilities include reaching out to well-fit companies through phone calls, email, and social channels to initiate conversations about Flexport's offerings. You will demonstrate the value of the platform's solutions through consultative communication and relationship-building.
A key aspect of this role is professional development. You will shadow Account Executives in meetings and activities to acquire the skills needed for advancement within the sales organization. Flexport views its sales development team as a talent engine for the broader sales organization, providing coaching, mentorship, and clear pathways to roles such as Account Executive or Account Manager.
The ideal candidate holds a bachelor's degree or higher and brings some sales or commercial experience. You are a high-energy communicator who loves phone-based engagement, can empathize with customer needs, and is solution-oriented. Fluency in both Dutch and English (spoken and written) is required. You thrive in fast-moving, tech-enabled environments and are commercially minded.
