As a Sales Development Representative, you'll be the first point of contact for enterprise buyers exploring Writer's platform. This is a high-impact role focused on pipeline generation and account-based selling. You'll work closely with enterprise account executives to identify and engage target accounts across industries including retail, financial services, travel, and healthcare.
Key responsibilities include:
- Building pipeline from ideal customer profile (ICP) accounts through thoughtful, creative outbound prospecting
- Researching key accounts and developing compelling value hypotheses
- Setting qualified meetings for the sales team
- Executing multi-touch, account-based campaigns in partnership with Marketing and Sales
- Identifying opportunities to automate and streamline processes
- Maintaining accurate CRM data in Salesforce
You'll report to the Manager of Sales Development and work in a hybrid capacity from Writer's San Francisco, Chicago, or New York City office. This role offers an accelerated path toward becoming a top-tier enterprise seller, with exposure to cutting-edge AI technology and Fortune 500 decision-makers.
Required qualifications:
- 2+ years of sales development experience at a SaaS company
- Proven track record of exceeding outbound pipeline generation goals in B2B SaaS startup environments
- Excellent written communication skills (critical for selling to enterprise buyers)
- Self-starter mentality with experimental mindset to help build new processes
