Thunes is seeking a Sales Development Representative to join its commercial team in San Francisco. This role reports to the Director of Demand Generation within the Marketing function and works closely with the U.S. New Business sales team to drive pipeline generation and revenue growth.
Key responsibilities include generating new business opportunities through outbound campaigns (email, cold calling, LinkedIn), researching and identifying relevant contacts at target accounts using tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator, 6sense, and Apollo, and qualifying prospects to understand their business needs and fit with Thunes' solutions. You'll nurture early-stage contacts through personalized communication, collaborate with Business Development Representatives on qualified opportunity handoffs, and follow up on event and marketing campaign leads.
You'll also work with the broader Marketing team to refine messaging, identify target personas, and optimize engagement strategies. The role involves sharing market feedback to inform product positioning and go-to-market strategies, and continuously seeking ways to improve marketing and sales processes.
Success is measured on activity metrics (calls and emails), number of sales opportunities created from outbound and inbound campaigns, and pipeline progression and revenue generated.
