Salary: GBP 60,000 - 70,000 / annual

Teya is a Series C fintech platform serving local businesses across Europe—cafés, restaurants, salons, shops, and entrepreneurs. The company is building financial tools designed around simplicity, thoughtful design, and genuine human support to replace clunky legacy systems. As a Sales Development Representative, you will own pipeline quality and conversion contribution in a high-standards, target-driven environment. Your mission is to identify and engage businesses with complex needs, understand their operations, and qualify opportunities for handoff to Key Account Managers at the right moment with full context. Key responsibilities include: - Proactive outbound prospecting via high-volume daily calls to merchants with complex needs - Consultative discovery conversations to understand business models, priorities, and growth plans - Rigorous qualification against clear criteria - Booking high-quality meetings and preparing structured CRM handovers - Managing follow-ups and prioritization with discipline - Close collaboration with Key Account Managers on target accounts - Sharing insights to support account strategy and conversion You'll balance curiosity with commercial judgment, taking pride in opportunity quality. Success requires proven sales development or inside sales experience, confidence engaging business owners and senior stakeholders, a consultative mindset, strong attention to detail in qualification, comfort with activity and conversion targets, excellent organization and pipeline management, and ambition to grow within a role that builds credibility and earning potential. Compensation includes a base salary plus uncapped commission with typical first-year on-target earnings of £60,000–£70,000.
