Sitemate is hiring a Sales Development Representative for their Sydney office to qualify and route inbound leads across self-service and inside sales channels. You'll spend most of your time engaging prospects through phone calls, emails, live chat, and internal tools like Slack and Salesforce. The role operates within Sitemate's AI-native approach—leads and account data flow into an AI-populated Salesforce, and every call receives live coaching from ClaudeMate with real-time feedback on framing, objection handling, and next steps. Success is measured by the number of product demonstrations booked and completed, with the current team consistently achieving ≥95% of monthly targets. Sitemate emphasizes rapid growth: SDRs typically advance to Account Executive within 9–12 months based on performance, not tenure. One recent SDR moved into a leadership role running Sales Development for North America within 8 months. Sitemate builds software and AI agents for the construction, infrastructure, and industrial sectors. Core products include Storm (a data capture agent for field workers), Dashpivot (safety, quality, and field reporting), Gearbelt (fleet and asset management), and Flowsite (no-code integrations). The company has strong product-market fit, generating thousands of leads monthly through word-of-mouth and organic channels. Backed by Blackbird, Sitemate has 200 people across 18+ countries with offices in Australia, the UK, the US, and Canada. The company culture emphasizes transparency, high velocity, diversity, and innovation. You'll have access to key company metrics, clear career development plans, and growth opportunities based on performance. The team spans 18+ countries, with 55% from underrepresented ethnic backgrounds and 43% identifying as female. Day-to-day responsibilities include qualifying and routing inbound leads, conducting prospect outreach via multiple channels, and tracking quota metrics tied to demonstrations booked and completed. You'll work in a structured, KPI-driven environment with fast-moving processes. Challenges include learning about the built world and construction industry terminology if you lack prior exposure, developing phone and email communication skills, understanding SaaS financial acronyms and metrics, and adapting to the company's rapid pace. Requirements: - Confident and clear communication skills with excellent writing and presentation abilities across email, phone, video conferencing, and in-person settings - Excellent task organization and prioritization skills; ability to multi-task efficiently - Ambition to pursue a SaaS career - Ability to thrive in structured, high-agency, KPI-driven environments - Strong relationship-building capabilities - Resilience to handle rejection and high-volume tasks - Comfort with frequent people interactions and conversations Nice-to-have skills: - Experience with modern tooling (CRMs, health scoring, live chat, knowledge bases) - Experience conducting customer meetings digitally (Zoom/Teams) or in-person - Patience working in industries where not all users are tech-savvy
