Salary: USD 70,000 - 80,000 / annual

As a Sales Development Representative, you will join the employer sales team and report to the Sales Development Manager. Your primary responsibility is generating high-quality net new opportunities by proactively identifying and engaging with high-potential accounts through strategic cold calling, personalized email sequences, and targeted social selling.
Key responsibilities include:
- Deliver value-driven messaging that engages and entices prospects
- Work closely with Account Executives and marketing to formulate personalized messaging and collateral communicating Pomelo Care's value proposition
- Secure meetings with employer buyers at all levels, from C-suite executives to benefits leaders, using creativity and persistence
- Assist with pre- and post-event campaign and event marketing to secure bookings from those who register, attend, or engage with Pomelo during marketing events and campaigns
- Develop tracking in Salesforce and regularly report progress to Sales leadership
- Consistently hit daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly lead generation targets
- Travel as needed for conferences

Requirements:
- 2+ years of highly successful outbound sales development or lead generation experience, preferably within SaaS and employer benefits and/or health tech, with a proven track record of exceeding quotas
- Ability to craft persuasive emails and engaging LinkedIn messages and phone conversations
- Achieving, results-driven mindset with ability to thrive autonomously and manage time for highest impact
- Experience with Salesforce, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and other tools to build target account and contact lists and conduct personalized outreach at scale
