This role is titled Sales Development Representative but functions as a talent acquisition specialist. Rather than traditional sales prospecting, you'll apply SDR-style outreach and pipeline-building skills to identify and engage candidates for key roles across the company. You'll work directly with the founding team to understand hiring priorities, evaluate candidate fit, and build relationships with prospective hires before they're actively job-seeking.
Key responsibilities include:
- Researching and identifying prospective candidates using LinkedIn and other sourcing tools
- Writing personalized outreach messages to engage candidates and build long-term relationships
- Managing candidate pipeline activity and status in the ATS
- Refining sourcing strategies based on what resonates with different candidate profiles
- Supporting founders with ad hoc hiring-related projects as priorities shift
You'll need 1–3 years of SDR or comparable outbound prospecting experience. The role values high energy, strong work ethic, excellent written communication, organizational skills, and genuine enthusiasm for learning talent acquisition outside a traditional sales context. You should be comfortable with high-volume outreach, consistent follow-up, and managing large active pipelines.
This is an in-office role requiring 5 days per week attendance at the NYC Gramercy office. The position offers competitive benefits including fully employer-paid health, dental, and vision insurance, flexible PTO, 401(k) matching, and pre-tax benefits.
