Flex is a growth-stage fintech company headquartered in NYC that is transforming how renters pay rent. The company enables users to pay rent on a flexible schedule throughout the month, addressing a critical pain point in personal finance. As a Sales Development Representative, you'll be a foundational member of a high-performing sales team, responsible for building the pipeline that drives company growth.
In this role, you'll focus on acquiring new Property Management Company (PMC) clients by conducting outbound prospecting, managing a robust CRM pipeline, and establishing relationships with senior decision-makers. Your day-to-day responsibilities include phone, email, and social prospecting tailored to different personas; quick follow-up on inbound leads; educating prospects on Flex's value proposition; and collaborating with the Accounts team on strategic adoption plans. You'll also take initiative on ad-hoc sales projects and contribute to the broader sales organization's success.
The role is hybrid, based out of the Salt Lake City office (Lehi, UT), requiring 3 days per week in-office. You'll participate in company offsites in Mexico, Sales Kickoff in Florida, and travel to NYC headquarters for team connection and major wins. You should have 2+ years of professional experience, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to build authentic relationships quickly. A sales background with a track record of hitting quota is a bonus. The ideal candidate is a self-starter, moves fast, stays flexible, and thrives both independently and collaboratively.
