Deliveroo is seeking a Sales Development Representative to join its Commercial team in Kuwait. This is an inside sales role focused on restaurant acquisition and pipeline development for the food delivery and marketplace platform.
In this position, you will prospect and pitch to new restaurants, working alongside Business Development Managers to close deals and hit activity targets for calls, emails, and meetings. You'll take full ownership of your lead portfolio, managing the sales cycle to ensure high conversion rates. The role involves continuously iterating on inside sales workflows to maintain competitive advantage, supporting strategic initiatives like field pitch days and restaurant marketing rollouts, and developing deep market insight into the local Kuwait restaurant landscape to identify high-potential partners.
Key responsibilities include restaurant acquisition through prospecting and pitching, pipeline ownership and management, process optimization for sales workflows, collaboration on commercial initiatives, and serving as a local market expert on restaurant trends and opportunities.
You'll need a minimum of 2 years of sales experience, preferably in high-growth environments, with proven negotiation skills. Fluency in both Arabic and English is essential, as is deep knowledge of Kuwait's restaurant landscape. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with a "get it done" attitude, capable of hitting and exceeding monthly targets independently, with exceptional communication and organizational skills for managing complex lead pipelines.
