Otter is a software platform that helps restaurants succeed in online food delivery. The company serves major brands like Chick-fil-A, Ben & Jerry's, KFC, and Eataly, providing tools to increase sales, reduce order issues, and streamline delivery operations.
As a Sales Development Representative, you will own the full sales cycle for Otter's software products, from initial prospecting through deal closure. You'll conduct cold outreach to restaurant owners and operators, pitch Otter's suite of solutions, and manage the entire customer journey. The role includes a structured 30-day onboarding program that teaches the technical skills and sales methodologies needed to succeed.
Key responsibilities include:
- Mastering Otter's product suite and using deep customer knowledge to pitch and close deals
- Executing full-cycle sales activities: cold calling, follow-up, needs assessment, and closing
- Meeting KPI targets, including a minimum of 80 cold calls per month to restaurant owners across North America territories
- Maintaining regular prospect communication and addressing client concerns throughout the sales process
- Providing updates and ensuring customer needs are met at each stage
You should have 1–3 years of sales experience with a track record in lead prospecting and qualification. The ideal candidate combines strong work ethic, consultative selling skills, goal orientation, and excellent communication abilities both in person and over the phone. You'll work in a collaborative environment with experienced colleagues and cross-functional teams dedicated to restaurant success.
The role is based in Otter's Bogotá office and requires full-time onsite presence (five days per week). The company is capitalizing on explosive growth in the online food delivery market, which has expanded 10X in the US over five years and is projected to reach $500B–$1T by 2030.
