EquipmentShare is hiring a Sales Development Associate at their Chico, CA rental facility to drive revenue growth and support the sales team in transforming the construction equipment rental industry. This role bridges inside sales operations and outside sales, focusing on identifying and nurturing new business opportunities while delivering exceptional customer service.
Key responsibilities include proactively engaging with customers to identify rental needs and provide tailored solutions, supporting Territory Account Managers by qualifying leads and prospecting new accounts, and developing relationships with key decision-makers at construction companies and industrial businesses. You'll maintain industry knowledge of market trends, competitor activity, and EquipmentShare's rental solutions, generate quotes, process rental agreements, and ensure timely follow-ups to maximize revenue.
Operationally, you'll coordinate closely with rental coordinators and operations teams to ensure timely equipment delivery, pickup, and servicing. You'll communicate with service teams to resolve customer issues promptly, assist in managing inventory and fleet availability, and leverage EquipmentShare's proprietary T3 platform and CRM tools to track sales activity and customer interactions.

The role operates Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with overtime pay after 40 hours and on-call scheduling with additional compensation.
