In this Sales Consultant role, you will be the first point of contact for customers, responsible for selling vehicle service contracts while delivering an exceptional customer experience. Your primary focus is to help customers understand their coverage options, grasp how the product protects them, and feel confident moving forward in the buying process.
Day-to-day responsibilities include:
- Initiating and leading sales efforts by promptly responding to customer inquiries via text, call, and email
- Effectively managing your sales pipeline to ensure timely follow-up
- Providing customers with factually correct information on different vehicle service contract options and guiding them to make informed decisions
- Answering customer questions and addressing concerns about coverage, claims, existing contracts, and appointment scheduling
- Achieving or exceeding monthly sales goals while maintaining customer satisfaction
- Completing ongoing training to stay current on product and industry knowledge
- Assisting in training and refining AI agents
- Capturing and relaying actionable feedback on how to improve the sales process and consumer experience
The role emphasizes a customer-first approach with integrity, working in a fast-paced environment where change and innovation are encouraged. You will work in-person in Chicago while collaborating with remote coworkers.
Qualifications:
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills (verbal and written)
- Strong customer-first attitude coupled with an eye for the sale
- Sales experience is a plus
- Ability to work in-person in Chicago and with remote coworkers
- Basic computer skills (CRM experience is a plus; proficiency in email required)
- Bonus: Spanish language skills
