Anysphere, maker of Cursor (an AI-native code editor), is seeking a Regional VP of Enterprise Sales to build and lead the sales organization responsible for revenue growth across the East geographic enterprise segment.
In this second-line leadership role, you will hire and develop frontline sales leaders, set territory and account strategy at scale, and personally engage in strategic, executive-level relationships. You'll partner with engineering leaders—from CTOs to VPs of Engineering—to demonstrate how Cursor transforms developer productivity and drive a land-and-expand motion across sophisticated software companies.
Key responsibilities include:
- Building, hiring, and leading a team of frontline sales leaders and Account Executives; owning forecasting, pipeline health, and quota attainment across the region
- Setting and executing go-to-market strategy for the named geographic territory, driving new logo acquisition, expansion revenue, and long-term strategic growth
- Personally engaging in the largest, most strategic deals, leading complex multi-threaded sales cycles across Engineering, Product, Security, Procurement, Legal, and executive stakeholders
- Coaching and developing sales leaders to build teams of trusted product experts who guide prospects through trials, technical evaluations, security reviews, and large-scale rollouts
- Building executive relationships across strategic accounts and representing Cursor at the CTO/VP Engineering/C-level
- Establishing clear ROI frameworks tied to developer productivity and AI adoption
- Serving as the voice of the enterprise customer to leadership, shaping roadmap, packaging, and GTM strategy
- Partnering with Field Engineering and AI Deployment teams to ensure outcomes from proof of concept through production deployment
- Building repeatable playbooks for outbound hunting, enterprise deal execution, and land-and-expand
- Operating as a hands-on builder with bias for direct involvement in account strategy and executive engagement
You bring 12+ years of enterprise technology sales experience, including 5+ years leading and scaling quota-carrying sales organizations with meaningful second-line leadership experience, ideally in developer tools, technical SaaS, infrastructure, or emerging technologies. You have a consistent track record of building teams that land new logos, expand strategic accounts, and exceed quota. You're comfortable navigating complex enterprise sales cycles, understand how sophisticated software companies buy developer tools, and bring analytical rigor to pipeline and forecasting combined with tactical instincts to unblock deals. You're an excellent communicator and leader who builds trust across all levels, and you're passionate about AI and the transformative potential of developer tools.
