Mercor is seeking its first dedicated Revenue Operations hire to build foundational billing and operational infrastructure from the ground up. This is a high-impact role at the intersection of Finance, Operations, and Engineering, with direct exposure to how the business scales.
You will own the end-to-end revenue operations workflow, designing scalable systems that drive rapid growth. Key responsibilities include: overseeing accurate tracking of customer-facing work and building dashboards that give leadership visibility into revenue health, billing trends, and operational metrics; investigating and resolving revenue discrepancies by reconciling large datasets across billing systems, CRM, and internal tooling; designing scalable processes from scratch and identifying automation opportunities in collaboration with Engineering; maintaining clean, reliable revenue data and enforcing data hygiene practices across systems that touch revenue; partnering closely with Finance, Operations, and Engineering to ensure alignment on billing logic and contract terms; and managing customer contracts, purchase orders, and the invoicing process across the customer base.
You'll lead collaborative work across multiple team members and cross-functional partners responsible for day-to-day support of GenAI revenue and billing. This role requires strong SQL skills for data investigation and reporting, experience with billing/invoicing systems and CRM platforms at scale, a detail-oriented systems-thinking mindset, deep understanding of invoicing and monthly close processes, and comfort operating in ambiguity. Ideal candidates have 4-10 years of experience in revenue operations, finance operations, accounting, or analytically rigorous roles at tech companies, startups, or professional services firms, ideally with a degree in a quantitative field. Bonus experience includes building rev ops processes from scratch at high-growth startups or familiarity with billing models in the human data space.
Mercor is a profitable Series C AI data company valued at $10 billion, with a mission to organize human intelligence to power the AI economy. The company operates in-person five days a week from San Francisco, NYC, or London offices.
