Salary: USD 120,000 - 140,000 / annual
Reformation is a sustainable fashion brand founded in 2009, on a mission to make sustainable fashion accessible to everyone. Named one of Fast Company's Brands That Matter and winner of a Best Carbon Footprint award, the company operates 50+ stores globally and maintains its own sustainable factory in LA. The company is expanding across categories including accessories, swimwear, and sleepwear.
You will oversee revenue accounting for multiple revenue streams and lead the design, implementation, and execution of scalable processes for an efficient close and control environment. Key responsibilities include:
- Oversee accounting of multiple revenue streams and ensure proper revenue recognition under ASC 606
- Reconcile and investigate outstanding accounts receivable balances
- Reconcile and dispute chargebacks for all AR balances
- Collaborate with Operations, DC, Wholesale, and cross-functional teams to ensure accurate customer invoicing and collections
- Review and approve all deferred revenue calculations with adequate support
- Create and maintain revenue-related monthly balance sheet account reconciliations
- Prepare journal entries and review/approve JEs and account reconciliations from direct reports
- Assist with monthly financial analysis and ad-hoc reports
- Manage and develop the Revenue Accounting team with full responsibility for day-to-day and month-end functions
- Maintain organized transaction documentation for audits and support internal/external audit processes
This is a hybrid role requiring 3-4 days per week in the Vernon, CA office.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 5+ years accounting experience in e-commerce, retail, or CPG environment
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or similar field
- 2 years of large-scale ERP experience (NetSuite experience a plus)
- Expert Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, etc.)
- Strong problem-solving aptitude with ability to identify root causes and make recommendations
- Ability to analyze transactional-level detail in ERP systems and articulate findings to management
- Strong cross-functional collaboration and relationship-building skills
- Action-oriented and solution-driven with ability to thrive in fast-paced environment
