Equip is a leading virtual, evidence-based eating disorder treatment program founded in 2019. The Revenue Accounting Manager will serve as the primary point of contact for all revenue-related accounting matters, managing revenue recognition for the consolidated company. This is a cross-functional role working closely with Finance, Revenue Cycle, and Product & Technology teams. Key responsibilities include: - Serving as the primary point of contact for revenue-related questions and reporting - Automating reporting for revenue, accounts receivable, and implicit price concessions - Regularly reconciling charges and collections from the billing system (AMD) to the EHR system and bank - Preparing monthly revenue and IPC entries and reconciling corresponding general ledger accounts - Preparing technical accounting memos for guidance application, policies, and non-standard transactions - Developing and documenting revenue accounting processes and procedures - Reviewing and interpreting payor contracts to determine accounting implications - Auditing pay rates sheets to ensure revenue recognition and billing align with commercial contracts - Monitoring and reporting on AR days outstanding (DSO) by payor - Working closely with the Revenue Cycle team on reconciliation differences - Partnering with Finance on payor-specific revenue forecasting - Monitoring and reporting on cash collections and uses Equip offers a fully remote work environment with flexible PTO (3-5 weeks/year recommended), 11 paid company holidays, generous parental leave, competitive medical/dental/vision/life insurance with significant employer contribution, 100% employer-paid mental health benefits (Spring Health), employee assistance program, healthcare concierge service (HealthJoy), and 401(k). Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field - 8+ years of experience in Revenue Accounting and/or Finance - Strong understanding of revenue recognition principles, particularly ASC 606 - Ability to research accounting literature and simplify complex situations - Experience in high-tech or software industries - Proficiency in analyzing large datasets using Microsoft Excel and Power BI - Proficiency with Google Suite and Excel - Strong attention to detail - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Highly collaborative with deep sense of ownership and accountability - Ability to build cross-functional relationships and communicate effectively with all organizational levels - Self-starter who is resourceful, loves to learn, takes initiative, and thrives in dynamic, fast-paced environments
