Everlane is seeking a Retention Marketing Manager to lead customer lifecycle strategy and drive long-term loyalty through data-informed, personalized engagement. Reporting to the VP Digital, you'll own segmentation and lifecycle architecture across the full customer journey—from welcome and first purchase through replenishment, VIP, and churn-risk segments. You'll execute campaigns across email and SMS, partner with Creative, Merchandising, Analytics, and Engineering to optimize the customer experience, and develop cohort strategies based on recency, frequency, monetary value, product affinity, and behavioral patterns. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing campaign execution (list segmentation, A/B testing, calendar management, deployment), monitoring KPIs (open rates, click-through, conversion, repeat purchase, retention), analyzing customer segments to improve targeting and personalization, and collaborating on marketing calendar alignment with cross-functional teams. You'll identify opportunities to strengthen high-value customer loyalty, re-engage lapsed users, and shape acquisition strategies informed by retention learnings. The role involves supporting a structured testing roadmap, ensuring accurate tracking and reporting with Engineering and Analytics partners, and staying current on industry trends in retention and lifecycle marketing. You may oversee junior team members or external partners supporting email development. Required: BA/BS degree, 4–6 years of retention or lifecycle marketing experience in e-commerce, hands-on expertise with ESP platforms (Klaviyo, Braze, or SailThru), strong analytical and reporting skills with ecommerce metrics, test-and-learn campaign execution mindset, and excellent cross-functional communication. Passion for Everlane's mission of ethical, sustainable luxury is valued.
