AirOps is a full-service platform helping brands get discovered and recommended by AI search agents (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini). The company works with category leaders like Ramp, Chime, Airbnb, ServiceNow, and Rippling, and is backed by Greylock, Unusual Ventures, Wing VC, and Founder Collective. You'll lead AirOps' research and thought leadership program, building a brand known for being ahead of industry trends. The role combines research, content strategy, and brand building. You'll work directly with the CEO and CMO to set direction, then execute across the organization. Key responsibilities include: setting the thought leadership strategy and direction; identifying compelling stories within AirOps' millions of daily data points and search queries; conducting your own research using tools like Claude Code to analyze first-party data and run expert surveys; turning insights into cross-channel campaigns spanning product, events, design, paid, and organic channels; connecting research to product launches and sales strategy; owning the company's research-focused social voice and cadence; and maintaining quality standards that reflect the caliber of work delivered to customers. You'll need 7+ years in thought leadership, content marketing, research, or equivalent. You should have proven experience producing research reports, insights surveys, and data-driven storytelling. Comfort with data analysis tools and the ability to work independently with datasets is essential. You must have experience running cross-channel marketing campaigns and translating content into full programs. A strong point of view on brand building and experience with corporate/founder social presence are important. You're someone who loves starting from a blank slate, obsesses over quality and storytelling, stays current with industry developments, operates with high agency, and thrives working across silos in marketing, sales, and customer teams.
