Jerry is an AI-powered platform helping customers manage car, home, and motorcycle insurance through a modern app experience. The company is disrupting the fragmented insurance industry by consolidating shopping, policy management, maintenance, and repairs into one seamless platform.
As a member of the Customer Operations team, you'll be the voice and problem-solver for customers navigating insurance decisions. Your responsibilities include:
- Handling inbound calls from customers shopping auto, home, motorcycle, and other policies, as well as existing policyholders requesting changes
- Developing deep product expertise across a large panel of insurance carriers to match customers with the right coverage
- Identifying customer needs proactively—spotting coverage gaps, qualifying discounts, and flagging upcoming renewals
- Processing service requests including vehicle updates, driver changes, lienholders, and policy documents
- Contributing product feedback directly to the engineering team with a short feedback loop to implementation
The role offers flexibility to develop either a sales or service specialization based on your strengths and interests, determined collaboratively during the interview process. You'll work in a fast-paced, high-energy environment with a team that values both professional excellence and peer support.
Compensation for the sales path starts at $19–$21/hour plus uncapped commissions, with top performers typically earning $100,000+ annually. The company provides work equipment, covers P&C insurance licensing costs if needed, and offers flexible scheduling (5-day 8-hour or 4-day 10-hour weeks).
