Revolut is a fintech super app serving 80+ million customers globally with products spanning spending, saving, investing, exchanging, and travel. The company is seeking a Regulatory Compliance Manager to join the second line of defence (2LoD) within the Compliance team, focusing on data protection and AI governance. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and updating data protection policies across all operations and product lines, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. You will oversee the identification and resolution of data protection risks, providing advisory and challenge to business teams and first-line-of-defence (1LoD) functions on products, processes, and controls. A key responsibility is developing and supporting data protection training and awareness programmes for employees across the organization. You will also monitor, report, and escalate risk trends through dashboards and governance committees to inform senior management decision-making. The role sits within a fast-moving, digital-first environment where you'll apply expertise in data protection compliance to design, lead, and improve oversight and compliance frameworks. You'll work cross-functionally with stakeholders across the business to ensure that innovative financial products meet legal and policy requirements while delivering value to customers. REQUIREMENTS: - 4+ years of experience in data protection - Understanding of innovative financial services and banking products - Knowledge of data protection frameworks, regulatory recommendations, and risk management in complex financial organisations - Familiarity with global requirements for data protection controls - Understanding of industry-wide data protection practices and trends - Expertise in identifying data risks and potential vulnerabilities, and advising on best practices - Track record of stakeholder management with ability to collaborate, negotiate, and communicate effectively - Fluency in English NICE TO HAVE: - Knowledge of key regulatory issues on data classification, data protection, and control assessment processes - Eagerness to develop expertise in GDPR and Central Bank regulations - Background in banking
