Halter is a venture-backed agtech company revolutionizing grazing management through virtual fencing technology. The company enables farmers and graziers to run more productive and sustainable operations without traditional infrastructure like quad bikes, dogs, or physical fences.
This is a founding Regional Sales Manager role for Argentina, one of the world's largest beef producers. You will be Halter's first on-the-ground sales hire in the region, responsible for building the customer base and sales function from scratch.
Key responsibilities include:
- Sourcing and qualifying leads through cold outreach, referrals, industry events, and inbound inquiries
- Conducting on-farm demonstrations and closing deals with farmers and graziers
- Managing the full sales pipeline from prospect identification through contract negotiation
- Establishing quotas, commissions, and sales management processes as the team scales
- Mentoring and developing future sales staff as the region grows
- Collaborating with Customer Success on implementations and renewals
- Building industry relationships and establishing Halter's brand in a new market
- Providing customer feedback to inform product development
- Optimizing sales processes for efficiency and predictability
You'll need at least five years of end-to-end sales experience with a proven track record of sourcing prospects, securing meetings, and closing deals. Experience in beef farming or agriculture is highly desirable; technology sales experience is preferred. Fluency in Spanish and professional English are required. You should be results-driven, adaptable to ambiguity, and comfortable building in a nascent market. A university degree is preferred but not required.
This is a rare opportunity to shape how an entire industry adopts virtual fencing technology and establish the foundation of Halter's Argentine operations.
