Okta is seeking a Regional Sales Manager to lead public sector growth across Australian Federal Government accounts. This is a leadership role responsible for defining and executing long-term strategy and targets to drive revenue growth in the Federal market.
You will lead and align a high-performing virtual team including Partners, Solution Engineers, Customer Success, Technical Account Managers, Renewals, Professional Services, and Business Development. Key responsibilities include driving pipeline generation and revenue growth while consistently meeting and exceeding targets, expanding and deepening relationships with Federal Government customers to build long-term trust-based partnerships, and establishing yourself as a thought leader in Okta's identity platform within the Federal market.
You will champion Okta's value proposition to prospective clients through compelling presentations, demonstrations, and strategic engagement. Okta has established a strong foundation in the Australian Federal Government market with flagship customers and local data centre support with IRAP certification.
Required qualifications include 10+ years of field sales experience with consistent high performance and growth mindset. You must have proven success selling enterprise cloud software into Australian Federal Government or Federal-aligned agencies, with strong understanding of Federal procurement environments and ability to navigate complex stakeholder groups. Experience collaborating with partners and reseller channels to drive customer alignment and territory growth is essential, along with a strong track record in new business development.
