Halter is a climate-tech company revolutionizing sustainable grazing practices through virtual fencing technology. The company enables farmers and graziers to manage cattle operations without traditional fences, quad bikes, or dogs—using innovative technology to improve productivity and sustainability.
This is a founding Regional Sales Manager role for Argentina, one of the world's largest beef producers. You'll be Halter's first on-the-ground sales hire in the region, responsible for building the customer base and sales function from scratch.
Key responsibilities include:
- Sourcing and qualifying leads through cold outreach, on-farm meetings, referrals, and industry events
- Managing the full sales cycle from prospecting through contract negotiation and close
- Conducting on-farm demonstrations and presenting Halter's value proposition to farmers
- Meeting aggressive growth targets and managing pipeline metrics
- Establishing the foundation for Argentina's sales organization, including quota and commission structures
- Mentoring and developing future sales team members as the region scales
- Collaborating with Customer Success on implementations and renewals
- Building industry relationships and establishing Halter's brand in a new market
- Providing customer feedback to inform product development
- Optimizing sales processes for efficiency and predictability
You'll need at least 5 years of end-to-end sales experience with a proven track record of sourcing prospects, securing meetings, and closing deals. Value-based sales expertise and high-volume sales results are essential. Experience in beef farming or agriculture is highly desirable; technology sales experience is preferred. Fluency in Spanish with professional English is required. You should be results-driven, adaptable, comfortable with ambiguity, and excited about building in a nascent market. A university degree is preferred but not required.
This is a rare opportunity to shape how an entire industry adopts virtual fencing technology and establish Halter's presence in Argentina's thriving grazing sector.
