Teya is a Series C fintech company building a financial platform for local businesses across Europe. The company focuses on simplifying financial services for cafés, restaurants, salons, shops, and entrepreneurs through intuitive tools, thoughtful design, and human-centered support.
As Regional Sales Manager, you will lead and scale Teya's Independent Sales Agent channel in the UK. You'll manage a dynamic team of commission-only sales representatives, growing the team from 0 to approximately 60 people over the coming months while delivering revenue targets.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading, managing, and developing a team of sales representatives at varying experience levels, ensuring alignment with company goals
- Designing and implementing effective sales processes to drive revenue growth
- Providing initial training for new sellers and ongoing mentorship to increase monthly sales volume
- Conducting regular performance reviews to ensure engagement and build long-term partnerships
- Collaborating with marketing and product teams to advocate for sellers and ensure they have optimal tools
- Analyzing sales data and performance metrics to identify improvement opportunities and drive channel growth
- Traveling as needed to meet with sellers, attend industry events, and support the team across locations
You should have proven field sales management experience, ideally in payments or related industries. You'll need demonstrable experience designing and implementing sales training for diverse experience levels, strong leadership capabilities to motivate commission-based teams, and the ability to develop strategic sales plans aligned with business objectives. The ideal candidate is proactive, results-oriented, organized, and knowledgeable about industry trends and competitive dynamics.
Compensation includes a base salary plus uncapped commissions. Benefits include 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays, gym and wellness support (GymPass, therapy, meditation, fitness apps), extended parental leave, private medical and life insurance, and an improved pension scheme.
