Classiq Technologies is seeking a Regional Sales Director to establish and lead commercial operations across Scandinavia. As the company's first dedicated sales leader in the region, you will own the full deal lifecycle for enterprise quantum computing software solutions, from prospecting and discovery through contract closure. You'll navigate complex buying organizations involving C-suite executives, CTOs, Chief Scientists, and procurement teams, typically managing 3–6 month sales cycles with deal values of $200K+ ACV. Your responsibilities include developing territory strategy, positioning Classiq as a long-term strategic partner rather than a point solution, and representing the company at key industry events such as The Economist's Commercializing Quantum and Q2B Copenhagen. You'll work cross-functionally with product, pre-sales, customer success, marketing, and legal teams to structure deals for expansion and contribute to vertical messaging and competitive positioning. You bring 5+ years of enterprise software sales experience with a proven track record closing deals with Fortune 500 companies. You excel at selling deep tech SaaS solutions in emerging or pre-mainstream categories where you create buyer understanding rather than simply responding to existing demand. You're comfortable selling to technical buyers—engineers, scientists, and PhD-level decision-makers—while maintaining credibility and managing multi-stakeholder processes involving both technical champions and economic buyers. Required qualifications include fluency in English and native proficiency in at least one Scandinavian language (Danish, Norwegian, Finnish, or Swedish). You thrive in fast-moving startup environments with evolving playbooks, demonstrate excellent communication and relationship-building skills, and have a disciplined approach to pipeline management and qualification. Bonus qualifications include a technical degree and MBA, experience building new enterprise software categories, deep familiarity with target verticals (chemicals & materials, advanced manufacturing, healthcare & life sciences, financial services, aerospace & defense), quota attainment history north of $2M ARR, and background in quantum computing, advanced simulation, EDA tools, HPC, or AI/ML infrastructure during pre-mainstream phases.
