Classiq Technologies is seeking a Regional Sales Director to establish and lead commercial operations in France. As the company's first dedicated sales leader in the region, you will own the full deal lifecycle for enterprise quantum computing software solutions, from prospecting through contract closure.
You will navigate complex buying organizations involving Chief Scientists, CTOs, CDOs, CIOs, and C-suite executives. Your responsibilities include leading executive-level discovery conversations that surface business problems quantum computing can solve, often before buyers have framed the problem in quantum terms. You will manage multi-stakeholder sales processes typically spanning 3–6 months, working with technical champions and economic buyers simultaneously.
Key responsibilities include building and maintaining an accurate pipeline with rigorous qualification discipline, representing Classiq at industry events (France Quantum, Quantum Cannes Festival, vertical-specific conferences), and contributing to territory strategy and vertical messaging development. You will collaborate with product, pre-sales, customer success, marketing, and legal teams to position Classiq as a long-term strategic partner and structure deals for expansion from day one.
Required qualifications: 5+ years of enterprise and/or ecosystem software sales experience with a track record of closing $200K+ ACV deals. You must have demonstrated success selling into Fortune 500 enterprises with specific named logos and numbers you can reference. Experience selling in emerging or pre-mainstream categories where you created buyer understanding is essential. You must be able to credibly engage technical buyers, engineers, scientists, and PhD-level decision-makers without losing credibility.
You should be comfortable operating with a fast-evolving playbook in a highly agile startup environment. Fluent English and native-level French are required. Bonus qualifications include a technical degree and MBA, experience building new enterprise software categories, deep familiarity with target verticals (chemicals & materials, advanced manufacturing, healthcare & life sciences, financial services, aerospace & defense), quota experience north of $2M ARR with documented attainment, and background in quantum computing, advanced simulation, EDA tools, HPC, or AI/ML infrastructure during pre-mainstream phases.
