As Regional Sales Director for the Central region, you will own revenue responsibilities for a territory covering IL, MN, IA, ND, SD, NE, KS, OK, MO, and WI, focusing on the 1,000-9,999 life segment. This is a build-and-close role with significant autonomy: you run your own book, take on the most complex deals, and shape how your region wins. You will own a quarterly quota and deliver results independently, managing relationships within the partnership ecosystem of benefits brokers, consultants, general agents, and employers.
Key responsibilities include: owning revenue for your specific territory; delivering on quarterly quota with minimal support; building and growing the region's base of brokers and advisors; developing and winning the region's most strategic Gold Advisor relationships; and shaping territory strategy alongside Enterprise, Account Executive, Client Relations, and peer Regional Director roles.
You should have experience in quota-carrying sales or sales support roles, working with benefits brokers and consultants, and ideally in health insurance. You're energized by a mission with measurable outcomes, comfortable with AI tools, and hold yourself accountable to outcomes that matter. You thrive in rapidly evolving startup environments, communicate value propositions effectively to external stakeholders, and are driven by work that genuinely impacts the healthcare system at scale.
