BillionToOne is a publicly traded genomics company transforming prenatal and cancer diagnostics. This Regional Manager role leads a sales team covering New York and Connecticut, bringing the company's single-gene NIPT (non-invasive prenatal testing) platform to OBGYNs, maternal-fetal medicine specialists (MFMs), and private practices. You will build and develop a high-impact sales team, executing a data-driven regional strategy to grow market share and profitability. Key responsibilities include recruiting and coaching sales representatives, developing customized clinical pitches for physicians and genetic counselors, analyzing sales performance against industry trends, and driving territory expansion in a startup-like environment. The role requires 4+ years of direct field sales management experience in molecular diagnostics, specifically in women's health, prenatal diagnostics, or reproductive health. You must have a proven track record of leading sales teams to exceed ambitious goals, with demonstrated success (President's Club, Chairman's Club, or equivalent awards). Lab diagnostics experience is required; clinical laboratory background is a plus. You'll need strong negotiation and closing skills, excellent data analysis capabilities, and the ability to assess buyer decision-makers. Exceptional organizational and communication skills—both written and verbal—are essential, along with the ability to present effectively to internal and external stakeholders. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, results-oriented, flexible, and thrives in startup environments where you can build territory and team from the ground up. This is a remote position reporting to the Area Director, with significant influence over how the test is communicated to physicians and patients, and how the product evolves to serve market needs.
