Anysphere, maker of Cursor (an AI-native code editor), is building out a new Commercial segment focused on high-value, fast-growing digital-native businesses. As Regional Director of Commercial Sales for EMEA, you will lead the founding team of Account Executives in this new sales motion, reporting to senior GTM leadership.
You will own the full scope of building and scaling this segment from the ground up. Key responsibilities include: leading, coaching, and developing a team of commercial AEs focused on high-velocity, transactional sales; defining and implementing a repeatable commercial sales motion and playbook; establishing forecasting practices and metrics; partnering with RevOps and GTM leadership on tooling, processes, and reporting; collaborating cross-functionally with Marketing, Finance, and Post-Sales on lead flow, forecasting accuracy, and account handoffs; hiring and onboarding a founding team of AEs; and acting as a strategic thought partner to senior leadership on segment strategy.
Ideal candidates have experience leading high-velocity or transactional sales teams, or have been high-performing velocity/enterprise AEs with player-coach experience. You should have strong coaching skills with a track record of developing early-career sales talent into higher-scope roles. Experience with PLG/velocity sales cycles, building and refining sales processes and playbooks, and forecasting systems is valuable. You thrive in ambiguity, can build structure in fast-moving environments, and excel at cross-functional collaboration. Strong communication and organizational skills, with comfort presenting to leadership and influencing outcomes, are essential.
