Alamar Biosciences is seeking a Regional Business Manager to lead sales efforts across UK North and Benelux territories. The company develops innovative approaches to measure critical protein biomarkers from liquid samples, enabling early disease detection through highly multiplexed assays. This is a field and home-office based hybrid role reporting to the EMEA Director of Sales. You will be responsible for developing and executing the commercial strategy within your territory, driving global expansion, and establishing Alamar technology as the market leader. Your primary focus will be developing deep customer relationships with Academic, Biotech, Pharma, and Government accounts while meeting or exceeding commercial targets. Key responsibilities include: developing territory and account-based sales plans; executing plans to meet company goals; delivering presentations on Alamar technology to customers; consulting customers on precision proteomics value; partnering across the company to communicate customer needs for product development; managing complex sales processes; maintaining and updating CRM systems; delivering accurate sales forecasts; driving prospecting and new lead generation; and supporting commercial organization expansion. Required qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences or related field (MBA or equivalent desired); 5+ years of proven life science capital equipment sales experience; deep knowledge of biomarker discovery and life science markets; ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles; strong communication and presentation skills; self-driven, collaborative approach; and willingness to travel within territory. The ideal candidate will have experience selling to academic and research institutions, biotech/pharma companies, and government agencies, with a track record of exceeding sales targets in European markets.
