Vital Bio is seeking a motivated Recruiter to lead full-cycle recruiting for engineering and manufacturing roles. You will partner closely with hiring managers to understand team needs, define role requirements, and build effective hiring plans. Your responsibilities include sourcing and engaging candidates through direct outreach, referrals, job boards, networking, and agency partnerships; coordinating interviews and managing candidate communication to keep the hiring process moving smoothly; building and maintaining pipelines for current and future technical hiring needs; tracking recruiting activity and maintaining accurate ATS data to support hiring metrics and reporting; and collaborating with HR and cross-functional partners to improve recruiting workflows and candidate experience.
You are detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment. You take pride in creating a strong candidate experience and helping the business hire the people it needs to deliver on its mission. The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of recruiting experience, preferably in engineering, manufacturing, biotech, medical devices, or another technical environment, with proven experience managing full-cycle recruiting and working closely with hiring managers. You should have strong communication, organization, and follow-through skills; the ability to manage multiple openings and priorities simultaneously; familiarity with ATS systems and standard recruiting workflows; and comfort working in a collaborative, fast-moving environment with a high level of ownership. Agency recruiting experience supporting manufacturing and technical roles is required.
Bonus qualifications include a background in medical devices, diagnostics, biotech, or regulated industries; experience supporting employer branding, recruiting events, or local talent community outreach; and interest in process improvement and building scalable recruiting practices.
