Nox Metals is a technology-enabled metal supplier serving aerospace and defense manufacturers in the US. The company uses software and automation to deliver aluminum plate, bar, and rounds faster than traditional industry competitors. You'll join as a Recruiter responsible for staffing rapid growth across both manufacturing floor and office roles, with expansion planned to new facilities including Los Angeles. Your primary focus is high-volume recruiting via phone screening and outbound sourcing. You'll leverage AI tools to accelerate candidate sourcing, outreach, scheduling, and communication—working 10x faster than traditional recruiters. Day-to-day responsibilities include reviewing inbound applications, sourcing candidates through LinkedIn, job boards, referrals, and partner networks, running quick phone screens to assess fit, and coordinating qualified candidates through the full hiring pipeline with hiring managers. You'll also develop relationships with external partners like colleges, trade schools, and workforce programs; write compelling job postings; maintain clean candidate records in the ATS; and track which sourcing channels produce the best hires. You're expected to follow all People Ops procedures, flag process issues when they arise, and handle confidential information with discretion. Shift hours are Monday–Friday, 8 AM–5 PM, with flexibility for early/late calls to reach second-shift and weekend candidates. As the company opens new plants, you'll help staff each location. Requirements: - 3–5 years of in-house recruiting experience with high-volume phone screening and outbound sourcing - Proficiency with AI tools in daily recruiting workflows - Fast, decisive phone screening ability with clear candidate assessment and articulate reasoning - Strong communication skills across all organizational levels (shop floor to front office) - Excellent organizational skills managing dozens of candidates across multiple requisitions - Willingness to escalate concerns about candidates or requisitions to hiring managers - Flexible, can-do attitude ("never says that's not my job") Nice to have: - High-volume hourly hiring experience in manufacturing, skilled trades, warehousing, or logistics - Recruiting background in hard tech, defense, or ITAR-regulated environments - Experience with Ashby ATS and LinkedIn Recruiter - Track record building or improving hiring processes at growing companies
