Salary: USD 100,000 - 150,000 / annual

Letter AI is a revenue enablement platform powered natively by AI that transforms customer conversations and account data into actionable insights, coaching, and next steps for revenue teams. The company recently raised $40M in Series B funding and is growing rapidly, having 10xed revenue last year and currently helping leading companies like Adobe, Lenovo, and Figma. You will be Letter AI's first dedicated recruiter, owning the day-to-day recruiting function as the company scales from ~60 to ~120 people. This is a hybrid role based in Chicago with presence required for onsite interviews and team collaboration. Key responsibilities include: - Own full-cycle recruiting: inbound review, active sourcing, screening, interviews, offers, and closing - Coordinate high-volume, fast-moving interview processes and ensure excellent candidate experiences during onsite interviews - Partner with hiring managers to launch roles, define ideal candidate profiles, and build/improve job postings and interview plans - Source exceptional candidates directly and identify effective channels, job boards, and tools - Establish consistent, high-signal interviewing practices including competencies, questions, feedback, and calibration - Partner with the People Ops Lead to improve the TA tech stack, recruiting processes, automations, and employer brand The role offers significant autonomy to shape recruiting strategy while maintaining hands-on execution. You'll work in a fast-growing AI startup recognized as the fastest-growing in Chicago, with opportunities to build the People function from the ground up. Qualifications: - 5+ years of recruiting experience, ideally in fast-growing startups or high-velocity, hypergrowth environments - Strong full-cycle recruiting experience across direct sourcing, screening, interview management, and closing - Strategic and hands-on approach; ability to shape recruiting processes while solving immediate operational needs - Thoughtful about recruiting systems but biased toward simple, practical solutions that accelerate team velocity - High ownership mentality and bias for action; proactive in identifying and implementing improvements
