Payoneer is a global financial platform founded in 2005 that removes friction from cross-border business. You will join Payoneer's Reconciliation team as a hands-on owner of BlackLine, the system that reconciles approximately one million transactions daily from hundreds of data sources. This role sits at the intersection of finance and technology, requiring a systems-minded person with strong numerical skills who thrives in fast-moving environments.
Key responsibilities include:
- Own daily BlackLine support: handle tickets, troubleshoot issues, and maintain reconciliation flows
- Configure and maintain the system to support new flows, products, and evolving business needs
- Support the offshore investigation team when data or processes break or go missing
- Review system outputs with the accounting reconciliation team, including journal entries
- Participate in month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities
- Translate business needs into system solutions and lead process improvements and automation
- Analyze anomalies, raise red flags, and escalate issues when necessary
You will work closely with offshore investigation teams and accounting reconciliation teams in an international environment.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree in Economics or a related field
- 2-4 years of experience beyond a first role
- Hands-on experience working with business systems (e.g., ERP, operational or reconciliation systems)
- Strong grasp of numbers and basic understanding of accounting
- Fluent English, spoken and written, for daily work with international teams
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet tight deadlines, especially during closing periods
- Flexible, resilient under pressure, and eager to learn in a dynamic environment
- Experience with BlackLine or other reconciliation systems is a strong advantage
- Involvement in a system implementation or go-live project is an advantage
