Payoneer is a global financial platform founded in 2005 that removes friction from cross-border business. The company serves customers and partners in over 190 countries, helping businesses manage global payments, compliance, multi-currency operations, workforce management, and business intelligence. You will join Payoneer's Reconciliation team in Petah Tikva, which owns controls, monthly reviews, and financial close across the company's operational activity. This role focuses on ensuring numbers align across high-volume accounts, systems, and payment flows rather than traditional bookkeeping—journal entries are largely automated. You'll investigate mismatches, collaborate with operational and global reconciliation teams to resolve discrepancies, and help maintain SOX-ready controls. Key responsibilities: - Perform daily and periodic reconciliations across accounts, systems, and payment flows with accuracy and timeliness - Support monthly review and quarterly close by preparing, validating, and documenting reconciliation data - Investigate discrepancies to root cause and open tickets with relevant teams for resolution - Collaborate with operational departments and global reconciliation teams, including the India office - Support internal controls and audits, including SOX-related documentation - Flag operational or system risks and suggest process and automation improvements - Manage multiple tasks and systems under tight month-end deadlines without compromising quality Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in economics, finance, accounting, or related field - 1–4 years of experience in reconciliation, finance operations, or finance department - Strong Excel skills, including VLOOKUP, Pivot tables, and large dataset handling - Hands-on comfort with financial systems; ERP experience is an advantage - Very strong written and verbal English for daily global team collaboration - Strong analytical skills and attention to detail with ability to draw conclusions and act - Flexible and resilient under pressure; able to switch between tasks and support teammates - Proactive, quick learner who raises red flags and shares improvement feedback - Fintech, payments, or high-tech company experience is an advantage
