Anduril Industries, a defense technology company transforming military capabilities through advanced AI, autonomy, and sensor fusion, is seeking a Senior Recruiter to own the "Recruiting for Recruiting" function. This is a meta role: you will build the talent acquisition team that builds all other teams across the company.
You will own the end-to-end hiring process for recruiting roles (Recruiters and Recruiting Coordinators) across all divisions—from sourcing and screening through offer negotiation and close. Your responsibilities include:
**End-to-End Hiring Execution:** Manage the full recruiting lifecycle with a focus on world-class candidate experience. Develop creative sourcing strategies to build pipelines for TA talent, recognizing that top recruiters are rarely active applicants. Conduct in-depth screens that assess recruiting craft and competency against Anduril's framework. Manage interview processes, prepare candidates and interviewers, and facilitate calibrated debriefs.
**Embedded Business Partnership:** Partner closely with TA leadership and hiring managers to understand recruiting capacity needs, team composition gaps, and success profiles for each business context. Act as a talent advisor using market data on recruiter compensation, availability by specialization (technical, G&A, cleared), and competitive intelligence. Provide transparent updates on pipeline health and market conditions. Advise on role design and leveling for TA positions.
**Functional Craft & Collaboration:** Contribute to the TA Center of Excellence by sharing market intelligence on recruiting talent trends and sourcing strategies. Mentor junior recruiters on judgment calls that separate good from great recruiters. Partner with your Functional Manager on development goals and Staff-level growth. Maintain data integrity in ATS/CRM systems.
You will operate within a matrixed model, aligned to a Business Line Lead for day-to-day priorities while reporting to a Functional Manager for long-term skill development. This structure ensures you solve pressing TA hiring challenges while sharpening your craft as a senior recruiter.
