As a Quantum Solutions Architect based in Tokyo (APAC headquarters), you will lead the technical track of the sales cycle with APAC customers spanning government, enterprise, and academic sectors. You'll serve as the trusted technical advisor, helping customers evaluate, adopt, and engage with Classiq's quantum software platform.
Key responsibilities include:
- Partner with Sales and GTM teams to qualify, scope, and shape customer opportunities
- Lead technical discovery processes to understand customer challenges across Finance, Pharma, Automotive, Healthcare, Logistics, and other domains
- Build customer trust through clear, compelling technical demonstrations
- Articulate complex quantum computing concepts to diverse technical audiences
- Identify new technical opportunities within customer conversations
- Influence product direction by relaying field feedback from prospects
- Maintain a library of reusable implementation assets and POC templates
You bring 3+ years of customer-facing technical experience (Solutions Engineer, Presale Engineer, or customer-facing DevOps roles) or strategic technical positions with strong cross-functional engagement (Product Manager, System Architect). You hold a Bachelor's, Master's, or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Physics, Math, Electrical Engineering, or related field, with hands-on experience in quantum information, quantum software engineering, or quantum algorithms. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong technical troubleshooting and project management abilities, and full English proficiency are essential. Python programming proficiency and Japanese language skills are advantageous. You can work independently and are comfortable with remote work arrangements.
