You'll join the Backend Automation Team as a QA Automation Engineer, responsible for designing and implementing comprehensive automated test suites for complex, distributed backend services. Your primary focus will be ensuring reliability, performance, and security as the platform scales.
Key responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks for backend services using TypeScript
- Write clean, maintainable test code that validates Kafka message flows, stream processing, data pipelines, and API interactions
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines, monitor test coverage, and ensure test stability
- Collaborate with backend engineers to define test strategies and ensure new features are testable by design
- Investigate, reproduce, and document defects with technical clarity
- Continuously improve test frameworks, tools, and QA processes for efficiency and robustness
You'll work closely with backend developers and other QA automation engineers, embedding quality assurance into the development lifecycle and owning quality across critical backend components. This is a hands-on technical role focused on building scalable, reliable test infrastructure for a high-growth security platform.
