Tempo is seeking an experienced QA Analyst II to join the team working on Structure for Jira, one of their flagship products. With over 30,000 customers including a third of Fortune 500 companies, Tempo is the #1 time management add-on for Jira and a trusted name in the Atlassian ecosystem.
In this role, you will plan and execute comprehensive testing activities across the product lifecycle. Your responsibilities include requirements testing, performance testing, compatibility testing across browsers and Jira/Confluence versions, integration testing at the system level, and both exploratory and scripted testing. You'll triage issues, communicate findings with product managers, designers, developers, and technical writers, and participate in iteration and release planning.
The team operates in an agile environment prioritizing working software and practical tools over comprehensive documentation. Key challenges include managing compatibility across multiple platforms and plugins, maintaining quality while shipping at speed, and making daily prioritization decisions.
You bring at least 4 years of testing experience with solid expertise in manual functional, regression, and exploratory testing. You have web application testing experience including business logic, usability, and UI testing, understand HTTP methods (GET/POST), and possess basic security knowledge (XSS). You're familiar with Jira/Confluence, understand the software development lifecycle and agile methodologies, and can create effective test checklists.
