Slip Robotics is revolutionizing logistics and automation with innovative robotic solutions for supply chain optimization and warehouse efficiency. The Purchasing Analyst owns the day-to-day purchasing cycle, ensuring material flows to the production line and field fleet on schedule. You will report to the Purchasing Manager and be responsible for turning MRP output and build plans into accurate, on-time purchase orders. Key responsibilities include executing the full PO cycle (creation, tracking, expediting through receipt), maintaining a weekly runout report to prevent shortages, and escalating supply issues early with mitigation options. You'll manage Engineering Change Order (ECO) execution by quickly canceling, rescheduling, or re-quoting affected POs to minimize excess and obsolete inventory. Data accuracy is critical: you'll maintain item, vendor, lead-time, and pricing data in the ERP, and resolve receiving and invoice discrepancies with Receiving and Finance teams. As the company transitions from NetSuite to an internally built ERP, you'll test purchasing workflows in the new system, document actual processes, and flag gaps before cutover. You'll serve as the day-to-day contact for assigned suppliers, requesting quotes, comparing price and lead time, and tracking on-time delivery and quality metrics. You'll build simple, repeatable reports on PO status, supplier performance, and spend, and identify opportunities to simplify or remove steps in the purchasing process. This is a hands-on, onsite role in Norcross, GA, requiring someone who can track dozens of open orders simultaneously without dropping any, communicate clearly with suppliers and internal teams (including delivering bad news early), and thrive in a scaling manufacturing environment. **Requirements:** - 2–4 years in purchasing, buying, procurement, or materials planning, ideally in hardware manufacturing - Hands-on experience running the full PO cycle in an ERP (creating, changing, closing POs), not just viewing reports - Ability to track and manage dozens of open orders without losing track - Clear, direct communication with suppliers and internal teams **Preferred Qualifications:** - Experience in robotics, automation, industrial equipment, or low-volume, high-mix hardware businesses - Familiarity with machined, sheet metal, fabricated, and electrical components; ability to read basic drawings and BOMs - Experience with ERP implementation or system migration - Exposure to excess and obsolete inventory management or ECO-driven purchasing changes
