Salary: USD 65,000 - 80,000 / annual

Tempus is a precision medicine company leveraging AI-driven diagnostics and real-world evidence to deliver actionable clinical insights. The Diagnostics business unit sits at the intersection of clinical operations, commercial outcomes, and data, serving physicians and health systems in oncology and genomics. You will join the Operational Excellence team as a Project Manager supporting the diagnostics business unit. This is a broad, cross-functional role partnering with stakeholders across the organization to improve operational processes and workflows. Key Responsibilities: - Partner with cross-functional teams across diagnostics to execute operational initiatives and workflow improvements spanning multiple teams, systems, and processes - Serve as subject matter expert for operating systems and tools supporting diagnostics operations, ensuring data integrity, security, and efficient performance - Autonomously own ad hoc process improvements and new initiatives to maintain operational excellence as the business scales - Implement and maintain tracking systems for operational initiatives and project status - Build and maintain reports and dashboards providing leadership with accurate views of workflow performance and key metrics; partner with Business Intelligence to identify KPIs and validate data accuracy - Perform hands-on data work including pulling and combining operational data across source systems to support reporting and process decisions - Support operational communications across the diagnostics network and stakeholder teams - Partner cross-functionally with Business Intelligence, Commercial Systems/SFDC, Product, and Internal Operations teams to identify gaps and keep initiatives moving Requirements: - Bachelor's degree, preferably in Life Sciences, Healthcare Administration, Business, or related analytical field - 2-4 years of relevant experience in operations, project management, healthcare/diagnostics, or data and analytics - Self-starter who can work independently with minimal supervision - Persistent and resilient; thrives in fast-paced, highly iterative environments - Highly organized and systematic with superb attention to detail and ability to prioritize and complete tasks with high accuracy - Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including ability to translate operational detail into clear narratives for leadership - Comfort working with data: familiarity with SQL and data visualization tools (Looker preferred; Tableau acceptable), or strong willingness to build these skills - Proficiency with CRM and operating systems (Salesforce/SFDC) and general database management - Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Suite (Sheets, Docs, Slides) Nice to Haves: - Experience in healthcare diagnostics, oncology, or life sciences - Familiarity with clinical and lab data systems (LIMS, EMR) - Experience building dashboards or operational reporting
