Base Power is rebuilding America's electrical grid through distributed battery systems. As Production Supervisor, you will lead a growing manufacturing team on the production floor, establishing culture and ensuring ambitious growth targets are met.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a team of Production Associates, creating a safe, positive, and productive work environment
- Act as the primary communication link between the production floor and management, ensuring team understanding of objectives and capturing feedback
- Ensure all products meet quality specifications and drive root-cause analysis when issues arise
- Champion organization and cleanliness (5S methodology) to maintain peak operational capacity
- Monitor production lines to identify bottlenecks, reallocate resources, and hit daily/weekly targets
- Execute the production ramp plan in collaboration with leadership, preparing the team for increased volumes
- Drive continuous improvement using Lean principles to reduce cycle times and waste
- Oversee training and certification of new Production Associates
- Conduct safety audits and Job Hazard Analyses in partnership with EHS
- Handle day-to-day operations including scheduling, time-card approvals, and resource planning with the Warehouse team

Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience as a Production Supervisor in manufacturing, assembly, or warehouse environment
- Experience scaling production lines or working in high-growth environments
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing or 5S concepts
- Strong people leadership: approachable, patient, good listener, able to motivate teams
- Adaptability and comfort with evolving processes in a startup environment
- Willingness to work flexible hours or weekends to support production milestones
- In-person commitment; not a 9-to-5 role
